Rev. Fr. Rajesh Abraham Anathil assumed leadership as Mission Director in August 2022. Since then, the Syro-Malabar community began to grow steadily, and it wasn’t long before we established a strong and visible presence in the Catholic landscape of Exeter. A deep sense of identity as a Syro-Malabar church began to take root among the faithful, and the mission quickly became well-organized.
Today, the Mission includes 120 registered families, with approximately 100 more in the process of joining. Plans are underway to begin ministry in Minehead and Bridgwater as well. Regular Qurbana, family units, and catechism sessions are at the heart of our efforts to nurture the spiritual growth and faith formation of the community.
